Our Crops

All of our u-pick crops are priced by the pound. We offer picking buckets, quarts, and pints for a modest fee, or you’re welcome to bring your own container—just have it weighed before picking. Look for our white wagon in the field or check in at the farm store for the most up-to-date u-pick information.

Apples: First planted in 1978, we have over 15 acres of u-pick and cider apples. U-pick starts in August and typically goes into early November. We offer free bags and carts are available to haul your fruits — or bring your own. Find ready picked apples in the farm store through Christmas.

Apple Cider: We press our own cider with our original wooden press from 1980. We typically start cider in late August. You can find it daily in our farm store or pick it up at any of our partner locations, such as: The King Ferry Corner Store, Modern Market, P&C Fresh, Green Star and more.

Strawberries: Our original u-pick crop, starting in 1939! The fields are open in June and early July, Keep an eye on social media for updates and open times.

Raspberries: Mouth watering red raspberries are available twice a year! Our first picking starts around Memorial Day. If you miss it catch the second round at the end of September.

Blueberries: With 15 acres of abundant blueberries to pick, you will get your fill! Blueberries have a longer season lasting from mid July until late August. 

Sweet Cherries: Pay close attention to our social media page for this crop. It may only be open for one weekend depending on the season. Typically in early July.

Black and Red Currants: We have a few rows of black and red currants open mid July.  These are popular for making jellies.

Pumpkins: Fields open in September — find big orange ones for carving, specialty varieties, gourds and more for decorating. Pie pumpkins for eating and preserving. All varieties are available for u-pick and ready-picked at the farm store.

Sunflowers and U-Cut Flowers: We have two sunflower mazes each year. One starting in August and the other in October. Get lost in the maze, visit our cut flower patch and pick a bouquet to brighten your home.

READY PICKED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES:

Peaches: From mid-July until sold out find our peaches available at our farm store. In an abundant growing year we may open for u-pick — this will be announce on our social media page.

Figs: Our newest cop from our oversized container trees that can be viewed leafing out each spring in the greenhouse. They have quickly become a favorite around here. These time honored fruits are one you don’t want to skip out on! Available by the pint in our farm store starting in late July and lasting into August.

Tomatoes: We grow over 400 tomato plants each year from sweet cherries to meatier ones for sauces. Pick up a pint in the farm store or call ahead to order by the 1/2 bushel. Tomatoes are typically available from late July through September.

Peppers: Find all sizes and flavors of peppers available in the farm store.

Other Summer Vegetables: Find your other favorites such as cucumbers, zucchini, summer and winter squash, grapes, onions, garlic, and more already picked in the farm store.

Fall Mums: Mums add vibrant autumn color to your landscape and front porch. Find a wide array of colors and sizes for your fall decorating! We grow over 2,000 mums from Late August through October.
